Congratulations on the Mid-Autumn Festival and welcome the National Day

The brightest night of the year, under the moon's glow,

A thousand miles apart, yet hearts come together to admire the moment.

Today is the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month,

We welcome the traditional festival - the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The term "Mid-Autumn" dates back to the Western Zhou Dynasty,

Ancient people considered the seventh, eighth, and ninth lunar months as "three autumns,"

And the fifteenth day of the eighth month marks the midpoint of these "three autumns,"

Hence the name "Mid-Autumn."

Mid-Autumn Festival, extending through history,

Also known as the Moon Festival and the Reunion Festival,

Evolved from the ancient autumn moon worship,

Among the four major traditional festivals,

Including the Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival,

The Mid-Autumn Festival originated in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties,

And continues to this day.

Mid-Autumn, brimming with romantic hues,

Sweet osmanthus scent drifting, silver moonlight bathing, jade dew cooling,

Autumn's beauty fully reveals poetic charm,

Chang'e flying to the moon, Wu Gang chopping laurel trees, Jade Rabbit pounding medicine,

Glorious imaginations stir continuous emotions.

No matter how time flows,

No matter how years change,

The moonlight is bright, emotions enduring,

May people remain together forever, even when thousands of miles apart,

Every Mid-Autumn Festival is a reunion promise for the Chinese people.

This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival coincides with National Day.

Gather with family, admire the full moon,

Wishing for the prosperity of our motherland,

All good wishes are held in the heart.
